I have been working in the field of design and development for over 15 years, starting out as a freelancer in 2007, while studying for my degree in Neuroscience at UCL. During this time I gained valuable experience in web development, graphic design and branding, and a greater appreciation for the psychology behind design.
In 2015, I transitioned into the role of UX designer and have since worked with clients of all sizes, from small startups to large global corporations. This broad range of skills allows me to easily communicate and collaborate with developers and create cohesive designs that reflect a solid brand strategy. It also drives me to create products that attempt to solve problems with a more holistic approach.

I worked closely with the product owner, developers, and other members of the Scrum team in an Agile environment, as well as members of the senior leadership team, to develop a large-scale internal product.
2016 - 2018
I gained valuable experience working in an Agile environment, as part of a Scrum team. I also had the opportunity to work on defining a highly flexible design system with a robust content model for a large multi-site CMS. Internally, I co-hosted several workshops to teach practical design skills, and presented and implemented strategies for creating content to build an online presence.

Experience Haus offers part-time courses (pairing students with start-ups), hands-on workshops and events on Product Design and Web Development. Experience Haus Radio was a regular radio/podcast show that was started alongside the courses in order to build brand awareness and create a community around the brand. The episodes are available to listen to on iTunes and SoundCloud. I co-hosted interviews with guests, managed equipment and venues for recording, and edited audio for each episode. I also recorded a special episode from Apple’s WWDC event.

Cohaesus is a technical partner to world-leading advertising and communication agencies. My responsibilities included conducting research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and liaising directly with clients on a daily basis, both over the phone and face-to-face. I also introduced documented brand guidelines for the Cohaesus brand, and hosted a number of internal workshops on the importance of UX for developers.
A strong foundation in neuroscience has given me a deep understanding of the complex mechanisms underlying human behaviour and cognition. This knowledge has helped to inform my approach to designing intuitive and delightful user experiences.
2015
Throughout the UXDI course, I had the opportunity to develop and practice the skills necessary to design user-centred web and mobile applications from idea generation all the way to visual mockups and digital prototypes.
2007 - 2012
During my time at UCL, I studied a range of complex topics such as neural computation, motivation and learning, visual neuroscience, and circadian rhythms.
The Value Determination Exercise is a personal development and self-improvement technique developed by Dr. John Demartini, a human behaviour specialist, philosopher and author. It is designed to help individuals identify and prioritise their values. Using this exercise, I identified my top values to be personal growth, creative expression, and health and fitness.
I believe that we are all capable of learning and improving ourselves throughout our lives. I prioritise activities and experiences that challenge me to learn and grow, and I strive to be open to new ideas and perspectives. For me, personal growth is essential for a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I value the opportunity to develop new skills, knowledge, and insights.
I enjoy many forms of creative expression, such as writing, drawing, design, music and dance. I believe that creativity comes from establishing new connections between various disciplines, ideas and topics that may seem unrelated on the surface, and that the best way to nurture creativity is by making room for learning and experimentation.
I believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness that includes regular exercise, a balanced diet, and self-care practices such as relaxation and stress management. I'm particularly interested in meditation, functional training and posture.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment tool that is based on the psychological theories of Carl Jung. It is designed to help individuals understand their personality preferences and how they perceive and interact with the world around them. Based on this assessment, my personality type is the Advocate or INFJ-T (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging, Turbulent).
The different personality types are divided into four distinct roles. A person's role determines their goals, interests and preferred activities. My role is the Diplomat – one that is focused on empathy, understanding and cooperation.
A strategy describes how personality types act in response to the world around them and how they might choose to accomplish their goals. My strategy is Constant Improvement – striving to master hobbies, careers, and new means of self-expression.
